  • Guides you through the civic integration programme.
  • Teaches social orientation lessons.
  • Works with you to find a Dutch course.
  • Guides you to VDAB (Flemish Employment Service) to find a job or training.
  • Looks for fun activities for you to do in Ghent.

A programme counsellor from Amal

  • Helps you with your civic integration programme.
  • Listens to your story, dreams, and goals.
  • Makes a plan for the future together with you.
  • Speaks Dutch, or a language that you speak or understand well.
  • Answers your questions about life in Flanders and Belgium.

    We will provide an interpreter if necessary.

After completing the civic integration: the “Coachpunt” (coaching service)

You have obtained your civic integration certificate. Amal's coaching service will help you if you have questions after your civic integration programme. We will help you during an appointment or a short coaching programme.

Marian and Heleen will help you with questions such as:

  • You are looking for a job that really suits you.
  • You want to follow a training to find a (better) job.
  • You don't feel well and want to feel better again.
