The City of Ghent and Amal are joining forces to unlock a wide range of high-quality, accessible, and diverse opportunities, so that every newcomer can follow a participation pathway tailored to their needs, interests, and lived experience.

To ensure that many Ghent-based organizations open up their activities to newcomers, the project "Gent Verbindt" was launched. With Gent Verbindt, we aim to grow into a mature network of organizations, made up of a wide variety of enthusiastic partners across the city. This way, every newcomer in Ghent has the opportunity to build a sustainable social network and actively participate in society.

This project is funded by the European Union.
